About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at 1125024 B.C. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level Earth and Pave Asphalt: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt as needed.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Debris: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Operate Equipment and Direct Traffic: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with frequent handling of heavy loads.
  • Physical Capabilities: Be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
