Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Pool Attendant to join our Guest Activities team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and safe environment for our guests, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the pool area, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pool Area Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including the pool deck, change rooms, and guest gym.
- Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests to the pool area, provide towels and refreshments, and attend to their requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Pool Rules and Safety: Ensure that guests are aware of and follow pool rules and safety protocols.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the pool area, including the pool, hot tub, change rooms, and gym.
- Facility Maintenance: Report any equipment deficiencies or maintenance issues to the facilities team.
- Additional Responsibilities: Cover Guest Activities shifts, including campfires, movie nights, and holiday celebrations, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of a Hospitality degree or diploma is an asset.
- Guest Service Skills: Exhibits exceptional guest service abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Health and Safety: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to health and safety, devoted to maintaining a secure work environment.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Dynamic, enthusiastic individual capable of thriving under pressure while efficiently handling multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Certifications: Possession of a First Aid certificate is an asset, and a valid ProServe certificate is required.
