Logistics Coordinator

GK Courier Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the operational logistics of the organization, including preparing and submitting reports, resolving work problems, and training workers in duties and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics and Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including coordinating, assigning, and reviewing work.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, including analyzing data and making recommendations for improvement.
- Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
The Logistics Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of purchasing and inventory clerks, shippers and receivers, and transportation route and crew schedulers.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and able to work accurately in a team environment.
GK Courier Services offers a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week and English as the primary work language.
