About the Role

The Direct Support Worker is a vital member of our team at Aldaview Services, providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Worker, you will work closely with our clients to promote their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with our clients to promote their independence and well-being
  • Assist with daily living tasks and activities
  • Support our clients in achieving their goals and aspirations
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in the social services field, such as a DSW/PSW or enrolled in a related college or university program
  • Related experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • CPR, Emergency First Aid, NVCI certification
  • A valid G license
