Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our Internal Platform Team.

This pivotal role will involve shaping the internal platform team and having a significant impact on the company's technology stack.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end development, design systems, and JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for Angular.

Key Responsibilities
  • Frontend Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in TypeScript and SCSS, building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Design System Support: Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers, participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers to set the direction and integrate design software such as Figma into the workflow, ensuring all solutions are robust and scalable, and adhere to best practices.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on front-end development, and 2+ years of proven experience working with design systems.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of and experience with JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for Angular, extensive experience with TypeScript, deep knowledge of CSS and SCSS (Sass), and experience developing and consuming web components.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
