Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at MS DRYWALL LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately maintain and balance various financial accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
    • Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
    • Administer benefits, including health and dental plans, and other employee programs.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, to ensure accurate financial information.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's financial stability.
  • Technology and Systems
    • Develop and maintain proficiency in financial software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
    • Implement and maintain financial systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate financial information effectively to management and other stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a financial operations role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of financial software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
