Network Automation Engineer

We're seeking a seasoned Network Automation Engineer to join our team at Robinhood. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing robust automated solutions to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated solutions using tools like Ansible, Python, Jinja, Terraform, and device APIs.
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and drive operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network automation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in networking-focused automation engineering.
  • Deep understanding of automation tools and technologies, including Git Actions, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in scripting/coding languages (Python, Go, Bash, etc.) to automate complex tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of network hardware, including Cisco, Juniper, and Arista devices.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and services, including BGP, OSPF, MC-LAG, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated automation services.
