About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Commercial Properties Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing maintenance-related repair and capital improvement projects on our existing Commercial Properties buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and manage project-specific budgets, including acquiring pricing and ensuring compliance with agreements.
  • Identify, obtain, and manage environmental approvals, permits, or licenses as required.
  • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit regular project status reports, including written and financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including contract management and tendering processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Obtain required project approvals from relevant stakeholders, including internal approval, zoning, and heritage.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, with 3-5+ years' experience in construction projects.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Technician (P.Tech.) certification, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, would be considered an asset.
  • Broad knowledge of building codes and relevant legislation, including Occupational Health & Safety Legislation, would be considered an asset.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
