We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at LensCrafters in Lethbridge, AB. As a Licensed Optician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice on eyewear and vision care.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and serve customers with a smile, setting expectations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure finished products meet standards and customer needs.
- Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, providing expert guidance and support.
- Utilize technology effectively, managing time pressure and customer volume while maintaining exceptional product knowledge and tool usage.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities, striving for exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and team building.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Selling skills, including the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
- Embracing new technology and change.
- Previous customer service and retail experience.
