We are seeking a skilled Route Driver to join our team at Ryan Company Ltd. as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Efficiency: Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, adhering to schedules and routes.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining effective communication throughout the delivery process.
- Logistics Management: Keep accurate records of items received and delivered, as well as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction with delivery and payment processes.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
- Qualifications: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
- Certifications: Obtain a criminal record check.
- Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Experience: Have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
