Job Title: Route Reclaim Driver

Stericycle is a leading provider of compliance-based solutions that protect people and brands, promote health and well-being, and safeguard the environment.

As a Route Reclaim Driver, you will be responsible for driving the company vehicle to collect customer products, scanning, sorting, and processing unsaleable and recalled consumer products for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned routes in an efficient manner, ensuring customers are serviced in a timely manner and to their satisfaction.
  • Collect required data with handheld scanning devices, record information legibly on route sheets and daily documents.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers.
  • Load and unload boxes on pallets and trucks for delivery to food banks or warehouses daily.
  • Follow written instructions containing route and client information.
  • Perform simple math calculations and interact professionally with various levels of internal and external customers.
  • Complete logbooks, understand hours of service regulations, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • Complete required reports and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in driving vehicles from at least 3 tons and route management.
  • Maintain a current required driver's license (Class 1 or equivalent) with an excellent driving record.
  • Personal driver's license required (Class 1 or equivalent); Commercial Driver's License preferred.
  • Demonstrate reasonable computer skills, knowledge of the internet, and the ability to use a handheld scanner.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read a map.
