About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Karen Clair Adams. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by clients' healthcare providers.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
