About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at Karen Clair Adams. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to our elderly clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by our clients' healthcare providers
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to meet our clients' dietary needs
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Offer companionship and engage in activities that promote our clients' physical and emotional well-being
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility
Work Environment

Our clients' homes are non-smoking environments, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.
