About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Store Associate to join our team at The David Sullivan Group of Companies LTD.-IGA#016. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Restock shelves and display areas, maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Operate a cash register, processing transactions and handling customer payments
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing product information
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
