About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Teknion. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements, translating and documenting them into comprehensive business, functional, and technical specifications.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to lead, assist, or manage the implementations of configurations, development, quality assurance (QA), and user acceptance testing (UAT), project planning, execution, and post-implementation reviews, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Seek to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement by analyzing financial data and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Conduct research and impact analysis on the evaluation of proposed initiatives or solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the HRIS system, managing configurations, troubleshooting issues, and providing training and support to end-users.
  • Support internal clients on day-to-day and strategic initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the finance and HR domains, proactively sharing insights and recommendations with the team.

Requirements

  • Have led or participated in an ERP Digital Transformation.
  • Experience on General Ledger (GL), Sub-Ledgers, Chart of Accounts, Transits, Business Units, Legal Entities.
  • Experience in analyzing data and file interface specifications.
  • Experience on Reconciliation - Process and rule definition.
  • Experience in finance systems leveraging multi-site, multinational capabilities.
  • Experience supporting the HRIS, including payroll.
  • Experience with BAAN LN or Infor ERPs, UKG, and OneStream an asset.
  • Support the maintenance of HR data integrity within and across systems, conduct system audits, and reconcile discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy.
  • Support the development of standardized processes, dashboards, and reports to be used on an ongoing basis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • University degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business System Analyst Role within Finance domain.
  • Working experience in Human Resources Information Systems with system integration understanding of cross-functional touchpoints and their impacts within the HR system platform.
