About the Role:
The Trotman Auto Group is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our dealership, including accounting and payroll functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage the payroll process, including processing payroll, managing employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, including managing cash flow and ensuring timely payment of invoices.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and budgeting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Controller to develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
