About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Airdrie OJs Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fast food outlet or concession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, ensuring they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide comprehensive training to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure we meet our quality control standards.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring we have the right people in the right roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports to ensure the financial health of our business.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on business performance and areas for improvement.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Airdrie OJs Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet customer demands and deadlines. You will be required to work a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service role.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and ability to work in a team.
Language

The primary language of work is English.
