Work Environment

Our fast-paced kitchen environment requires a team player who can work under pressure and maintain a clean and organized workspace. As a Cook, you will be standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
  • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
  • Package take-out food
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
  • Short order cooking and food preparation
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus and flexibility
  • Team player with a positive attitude
