Job Description

Position Purpose

Supports top producing Financial Planners in meeting sales objectives and related activities by providing administrative services and support. Provides responsive client contact management through various channels. Develops relationships with service partners to ensure operational guidelines are followed and transactions are processed efficiently. Manages office routines to maintain efficiency through effective management of files and records. Prepares materials for presentations, meetings, and marketing initiatives.

The work environment is a combination of branch and home office, depending on the needs of the Financial Planner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides superior responsive service to client requests
  • Executes and delivers client transactions and requests
  • Familiar with key referral sources and has strong organizational awareness and knowledge of mortgage and investment processes
  • Stays up-to-date with skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Sales-oriented, self-motivated, and self-managed individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication and business writing skills
  • Resourceful and able to work independently
  • Ability to provide superior responsive service to build customer loyalty and trust
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic team player with attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and marketing software
  • Knowledge of mortgage process and Home Financing products is an asset
  • Credit experience and knowledge of Royal Bank systems are assets
