About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at Asmaira Wireless Solutions Inc. as a Telecommunications Technician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Cable Signals: Conduct thorough inspections and tests of cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and Maintain Equipment: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
  • Read Blueprints and Determine Work Requirements: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Repair and Troubleshoot: Repair and troubleshoot cable signals, equipment, and transmission systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Work Safely at Heights: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures to install and maintain equipment.
  • Connect and Disconnect Outlets: Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.
  • Determine Work Assignments: Determine work assignments and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient completion of projects.
  • Maintain and Repair Systems: Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Work Term and Language: This is a permanent position, and the primary work language is English.
  • Hours of Work: The standard hours of work are 30 hours per week.
