Key Responsibilities

As a hardwood floor layer, your tasks will include:

  • Inspecting, measuring, and marking surfaces for coverage
  • Measuring, cutting, and fastening underlay and underpadding
  • Installing resilient floor coverings
  • Preparing and installing hardwood floors
  • Inspecting and repairing damaged floor coverings
  • Removing existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Smoothing surfaces using wood filler and sanding
  • Utilizing power tools effectively
  • Vacuuming and cleaning floors post-installation
