Your Contribution:
The primary responsibility of the Customer Support Specialist/Loader is to assist customers with their shopping experiences. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and aiding customers in locating, selecting, carrying, and loading products. Additionally, this position supports checkout operations and other customer service functions as required. Flexibility in availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts throughout the week is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare items for quick loading, restock shelves, and operate power equipment as necessary
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment by conducting daily safety assessments, identifying hazards, maintaining cleanliness, and monitoring for potential security risks
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months experience using a computer for data entry and information management
- At least 6 months experience with handheld devices for data entry and retrieval
- 6 months of retail experience in a loading capacity at home improvement or hardware stores
- 6 months of experience in any department within a RONA retail location
- 6 months of experience in retail merchandising, including tasks such as zone recovery, stocking, pricing, and maintaining signage
- 6 months of experience in any role involving the inspection, handling, and transportation of products
- Ability to lift weights ranging from 26-50 pounds frequently and 51-75 pounds regularly, with assistance as needed
- Capability to work in challenging conditions, including extreme temperatures and variable weather
