Responsibilities:

* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems
* Read blueprints and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems
* Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures
* Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
* Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
* Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
* Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Willingness to train
* Physically demanding work environment
* Ability to work in confined spaces, wet/damp conditions, and at various locations
* Excellent oral communication and team player skills
