About the Role

WOODPRO CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Site Support: Provide support to construction teams, including erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment as needed.
  • Material Preparation: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning up spills and removing debris.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with construction teams to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to heights, dust, and physical demands.
  • Work Setting: Construction site environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, reliability, team player, and hardworking attitude.
