Job Title: Industrial Spray Painter

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Spray Painter to join our team at ARC Coatings. As an Industrial Spray Painter, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various metal surfaces using electroplating equipment, hot-dip metal plating equipment, and spray equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of coatings, equipment, and supplies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate coating applications.
  • Check the thickness of coatings using micrometers, callipers, or other devices to ensure quality control.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate and control electroplating equipment, hot-dip metal plating equipment, and spray equipment to apply coatings to metal surfaces.
  • Apply touch-ups and prepare and apply stencils, decals, or other decorative items on finished products.
  • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications.
  • Select appropriate coatings or mix coatings to achieve desired results.
  • Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings.
  • Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat metal surfaces.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial coatings or a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
