Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the security of the network and oversee the planning and execution of network projects.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with various departments to achieve business goals.
- Design, implement, and manage intricate network solutions that support operational needs.
- Protect organizational systems and networks from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Lead network architecture planning, including necessary hardware and software upgrades.
- Deliver technical expertise in troubleshooting network issues and devising effective solutions.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure robust network security measures are established.
- Conduct regular performance monitoring and optimization of network systems.
- Mentor junior network engineers to foster team development.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements for network performance.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation for compliance and reference.
- Possess extensive knowledge of networking protocols and hardware/software solutions.
- Conduct network security assessments and propose remediation strategies.
- Design and uphold security controls for network infrastructure.
- Utilize public cloud solutions effectively.
- Experience with industry-standard network tools and scripting languages.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years in network architecture design or solution engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud infrastructure.
- Proficient in scripting or coding with relevant languages.
- 8+ years of experience in complex IT architecture environments.
- Degree in an IT-related field is required.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCNP, CISM, CISA, CEH, etc.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience in network architecture.
- Proficiency with FortiGate/Fortinet Firewalls and Cisco Routers/Switches.
- Strong scripting skills, particularly in Python.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in large-scale environments.
