Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to patients, while also providing exceptional customer service and counseling patients on their medication regimens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patient needs
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public health initiatives and clinics
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues
  • Review and control costs at all levels within the dispensary
  • Provide ongoing training to new and existing pharmacy colleagues
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and registered in good standing with the ACP
  • Additional Prescribing Authority (APA) required
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills
  • Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy Computer system
