About the Role

Cronos GrowCo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Greenhouse Section Lead to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our greenhouse, ensuring that our high-quality cannabis products meet the highest standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a team of greenhouse production level employees to ensure they meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Training and Development: Train subordinate staff in production methods, safety procedures, and company policies and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the performance of the team and identify and correct any health and safety issues.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and troubleshoot greenhouse equipment as necessary.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports and communicate with the Production Manager and other stakeholders to ensure that production objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years' experience as a Team Lead; 2 years of experience in the Greenhouse industry.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, ability to create logically ordered objectives, and ability to stay informed and up to date with changes in technology, code, and workplace compliance.
  • Certifications: Certified with WHMIS.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage employees.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives.
