About the Role

Mega City Rental Supplies Inc is seeking a skilled Textile Machine Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of textile machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain textile machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair defects in textile machinery and equipment, and troubleshoot issues to prevent downtime.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up and configure textile machinery and equipment for optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that textile machinery and equipment meet our high standards.
  • Training and Coaching: Coach and instruct apprentices on the proper use and maintenance of textile machinery and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in textile machinery maintenance and repair.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of textile machinery and equipment, including automated and robotic systems, conveyor systems, electrical and electronic controls, and more.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
