Position: We are currently looking for a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to become a vital part of our team on a Permanent Part-Time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the physiotherapist in executing individualized treatment plans for residents in care facilities.
  • Administer prescribed therapies, including gait training, balance enhancement exercises, and mobility improvement activities.
  • Lead safe and effective exercise sessions for groups of residents.
  • Prepare therapeutic equipment and ensure treatment areas are well-maintained.
  • Maintain regular communication with the physiotherapist regarding the progress of residents.
  • Document daily treatment sessions using the company’s electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a PTA/OTA diploma or equivalent qualification in healthcare.
  • Experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.

Health and Safety: All candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencing employment.
