We are seeking a dedicated full-time physician to become part of our esteemed practice at Nova Scotia Health Authority. This role involves managing a patient roster and providing comprehensive care in both long-term and primary care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and order necessary diagnostic assessments.
- Facilitate referrals to specialized medical professionals as needed.
- Serve as an advocate for patient health and well-being.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.
- Document births, deaths, and report diseases in accordance with regulations.
This practice operates under a collaborative model, allowing for shared responsibilities among physicians, and includes opportunities for teaching and mentorship. The administrative team is comprised of skilled professionals, including an office manager and medical administrative staff.
Qualifications Required:
- Must be eligible for licensure with the CPSNS.
- Certification from the CFPC is required.
- Must have coverage through the CMPA.
This is a full-time role, with a schedule from Monday to Friday.
