Job Summary

T & S Transportation Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, replacements, and testing of parts and components.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and implement effective solutions.
  • Estimation and Costing: Accurately estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports and documentation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with regular overtime required.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, with manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination essential for the role.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
