About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at CCW Inc. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Woodworking Machines: Safely operate a variety of woodworking machines, including power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Study Plans and Specifications: Carefully study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assemble and Finish Products: Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed. Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Accurately estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Repair and Restyle Furniture: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products to meet customer specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
