Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers entering the store. This includes greeting and acknowledging customers in a friendly and professional manner, as well as providing information on in-store promotions and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the store.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Bass Pro Shops, representing the company's values and mission to all customers.
  • Provide information on in-store promotions and events, including sales, discounts, and new product releases.
  • Distribute promotional materials to customers, such as flyers and brochures.
  • Direct customers to the appropriate department or section of the store.
  • Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for customers, including the store entrance and main aisles.
  • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions about store policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and services.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures, including sales techniques and customer service strategies.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move freely throughout the store.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
