Job Title: Assistant Manager

At EssilorLuxottica, we're committed to delivering exceptional eye care and customer experiences. As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in leading our team to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver quality and improvement to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs): Comp Sales, % Sales to Plan, Conversion & Customer Count, Comp Growth, Increased Traffic, Store Operating Profitability, Continuity of Care, Exam Growth & Retention Goals, Net Promoter Score, and Current year objectives.
  • Support store business plans to maximize sales and profit.
  • Partner with the store manager to lead and develop the team.
  • Deliver clear, constructive, timely feedback and partner with the Store Manager on development.
  • Execute visual directives and maintain store appearance.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with doctors.
  • Promote team compliance to all policies.
  • Perform administrative duties.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators.
  • Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence and oral communication.
  • Strong communicator and listener.
  • Demonstrated high-level of selling skills.
  • Proven ability to problem solve.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in leadership position within retail and customer service industry.
  • Knowledge of basic optics.
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise.
  • State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
  • Brand Final Inspector Certification.
  • Brand Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program.

We offer a competitive salary range of $38,284.50 - $66,689.66, plus a bonus and/or commission plan, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts.
