We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at EAZYFOODS Inc. as a key member of our accounting department.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to help inform business decisions.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software and systems.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 30-35 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
