Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and promote patient-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN.
- Post-basic education in gerontology an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
