As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, preparing pre-qualification submissions, and reading blueprints to determine work requirements.

You will also create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms, advise on tendering procedures, and analyze tenders to recommend awards.

In addition, you will set up cost monitoring and reporting systems, monitor and adjust contract expenditures, and prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors.

You will liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.

If you have experience in mechanical construction, commercial and/or industrial construction, industrial construction, residential construction, or contractors, and have skills in purchasing, procurement, and contracts, project coordination, and transportation/travel information, we encourage you to apply.
