Geotechnical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Manager to join our dynamic team at GSI environement Incorporé d'Filial Englobe. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the management of geotechnical investigation, study, and design projects across various markets, including renewable energy, hydroelectric, transportation, buildings, climate change, and mining.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: End-to-end management of geotechnical projects, including proposal preparation, project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Technical Expertise: Conduct geotechnical investigations, including exploratory drilling, soil sampling, and in-situ testing, as well as design and calculate geotechnical studies.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, support, and mentor project team members, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- Business Development: Develop and participate in business development initiatives to secure new clients and projects.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with Englobe's health and safety policies and procedures, and participate in H&S inspections.
- Education: University degree in geological engineering, civil engineering, or related field, and membership in OIQ.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in geotechnical project management.
- Skills and Expertise: Superior document management, written and verbal communication, time management, organizational, and multitasking skills, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Soft Skills and Qualities: Flexibility, adaptability, strong commitment to delivering high-quality work, calm professionalism, and interest in mentoring and sharing knowledge.
