Your Role:
The successful candidate for the Marketing Specialist position will be deeply committed to addressing food insecurity and engaging with the community, aligning closely with our mission. You will have a strong background in managing social media channels, creating engaging content, and strategically planning campaigns for various initiatives. Your project management skills will be essential as you collaborate with diverse teams, and your innovative mindset will help drive effective marketing strategies. Additionally, you will excel in communication, storytelling, and data analysis, ensuring that our content and marketing operations consistently reflect our values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development & Storytelling: Create compelling social media and campaign content that effectively conveys our mission and impact.
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine content and marketing policies and procedures.
- Strategic Outreach: Implement marketing strategies to showcase Seva Food Bank's initiatives and achievements.
- Project Leadership: Oversee and execute comprehensive marketing plans.
- Community Engagement: Manage social media platforms to boost engagement and community involvement, including regular interaction with followers.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate content performance metrics to enhance marketing strategies and prepare reports on key indicators such as engagement and reach. Manage all social media archives and utilize analytics tools for performance tracking.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in product launches or integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience in graphic design using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Familiarity with advertising management platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics.
- Proficiency in content management systems.
- Experience in planning and executing initiatives.
- Willingness to work at various locations, including evenings and weekends, and flexibility to attend events as needed.
