Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Team Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement action plans to optimize warehouse processes, focusing on receiving, storage, and shipping operations.
  • Monitor team performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide guidance to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Lead daily team meetings to communicate operational priorities, ensuring clear understanding of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Generate comprehensive reports to track progress, identify potential issues, and inform decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and address any discrepancies promptly.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with the day shift team during transition meetings to ensure seamless handover of information and responsibilities.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications
  • Proven supervisory experience in a warehouse setting (2-5 years).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
