Position Overview:
As an Immunology Research Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting both clinical and non-clinical research initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and executing scientific testing strategies and studies.
- Developing, optimizing, validating, and employing immunoassay techniques, including ELISAs and ECLs utilizing the Meso Scale Discovery platform.
- Composing scientific documentation and reviewing results for accuracy.
- Analyzing scientific challenges, troubleshooting analytical methods, and interpreting raw data.
- Overseeing the management of scientific projects and guiding technical personnel throughout study execution.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
- A degree in Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is advantageous.
- Experience in developing and validating immunogenicity methods is a plus.
- Experience in creating and validating cell-based assays is also beneficial.
Work Schedule:
This position typically follows a daytime schedule from Monday to Friday, with potential overtime as required.
