About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trailer Technician to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on trailers, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts and components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex trailer issues, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize trailer performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trailer technologies and industry best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our maintenance processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of practical experience in tractor trailer maintenance, with a strong focus on trailer repair and maintenance.
  • Proven track record of successfully diagnosing and repairing complex trailer issues.
  • Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) if required.
