Job Summary

THISTLE TRUCK & TRAILER is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair trailer mechanical issues, such as electrical and hydraulic problems.
  • Inspect trailers for damage or wear and tear, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Work with other technicians to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in trailer maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Work will be completed at the physical location of THISTLE TRUCK & TRAILER.
  • Work site environment includes dusty, outdoors, dirty, and noisy conditions.
