About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Mary Ann Manuel. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our client's home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • General Assistance: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, such as housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
