About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Mary Ann Manuel. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Household Management: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of our residential properties, ensure that all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with our team and clients to ensure that all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and priorities.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
