About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Tharshana Kailayapillai. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Qualifications: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Work Setting: The Home Childcare Provider will work in the employer's home, providing care and support to children.
  • Tasks:
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
    • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
    • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
    • Supervise and care for children.
    • Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
    • Administer first aid in emergency situations.
  • Security and Safety: The Home Childcare Provider will be required to undergo a vulnerable sector check.
  • Screening Questions:
    • Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?
    • Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?
    • Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?
