About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Accuracy: Verify and ensure the accuracy of prescription information, including medication names, dosages, and instructions.
  • Client Data Management: Enter client information into our database, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Pharmacist Support: Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including preparing medications, maintaining inventory, and performing administrative duties.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that expired or recalled products are removed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, including autoclaves, scales, and other pharmacy equipment.
  • Compound Preparation: Prepare and compound pharmaceutical products, including oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that our pharmacy is well-stocked and equipped to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including billing third-party insurers and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a pharmacy or related setting.
  • Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore environment.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in Kroll Software and other relevant technology.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and manual dexterity required.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, judgment, organized, team player, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and ability to multitask.
