About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at JY Shinwoo Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality carpentry products.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment, exposed to noise and dust.
  • Perform physical tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, and handle heavy loads.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
