Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at MyHealthCare Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy staff in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products with precision and accuracy.
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments.
  • Process claims, including health insurance and workers' compensation, with attention to detail.
  • Collect and analyze statistics to inform business decisions.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including reception, telephone, and appointment scheduling.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience in a pharmacy or related field is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:

Our pharmacy is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
